| Affiliate Elite is an affiliate market research software application that is designed to help you gather information about the competitors operating in any online market.First, the “find JV partners” function works as advertised and is actually more powerful in practice than I expected.
It makes sorting, organizing and filtering potential affiliate programs a piece of cake. It automatically imports the latest ClickBank and PayDotCom affiliate programs daily, allow you to sort by keyword, date added, category, Clickbank ID and more. It also allows you to see trends and easily pinpoint which programs you will want to promote and which ones to avoid. And it’s fast. |
It almost doesn’t even seem reasonable how quickly it gets all of this data and then presents it in a way that makes picking the next hot product a no brainer.
I love this feature. You can find every keyword that is actually making other people money in any market that you want to look at.
The system creates an extremely powerful keyword list, plus it includes the ad copy being used for each keyword at each pay per click page position.
Affiliate Elite also includes a very powerful AdWords spy tool that will run on a scheduled basis. You enter your list of keywords and let affiliate elite do the rest.
It’ll run for as many days as you want and track which keywords are being bid on and which ones are not. After you’ve collected data for a few days you’ll start to see a list of keywords and ads that are being bid on over and over. These are the winners.
Maybe most powerful of all, you can easily find affiliates who are already promoting similar products in any market. Then it gives you their contact information so you can ask them to promote your products.
You can also find which products any given affiliate is promoting (Lake your favorite guru) then use the reverse search function and discover all of the sales copy, keywords and ad copy they are using.
While it is a remarkable program there are a few things I wish had been done better.
The navigation isn’t very intuitive so it’s difficult to get started. It takes a minute or two to figure it all out.
It only works with Clickbank and PayDotCom. This is a pretty big limitation if you are actively promoting products from other affiliate networks.
It is expensive if you’re just getting started in the affiliate marketing game. The basic model is in the $150 range, but the truth is, there isn’t any other product or service on the market that can give you such a complete picture of any business or market you want to look at.
The Professional version has a recurring cost of $37 a month. This can price some people out of the market. It works like some of the “web-based” sites that charge upwards of $97/month for JUST the keywords and advertisers.
Affiliate Elite provides that and a whole lot more. It queries a DB of over 4 billion web pages, which are all crawled and updated on a weekly basis. Maintaining this information is extremely expensive. It would be impossible for a single person to afford this on their own … hence the monthly fee for the pro version.
Finally, the training that comes with the program is a little thin. More project step by step guides would be good.
All in all Affiliate Elite is well worth the price for what it does and I recommend it highly.
